Cedar Road Students Shine at the DRET Cross Country Shield 2025!

On Wednesday 5th March, a group of talented Year 3, 4, 5, and 6 pupils from Cedar Road took part in our annual DRET Cross Country Shield, having successfully qualified during the Cross Country Qualifiers held in November. Our runners travelled to Nevill Holt in Market Harborough, arriving early and ready to tackle the challenging course.

Each participant ran 1.5km through the fields, navigating a track that featured steep hills, muddy patches, and other obstacles. Despite the challenges, our athletes performed remarkably well throughout the day.

We are proud to announce the following outstanding achievements:

• Congratulations to our Year 5/6 Girls, who were crowned Cross Country Champions 2025!
• A special mention goes to one of our pupils, who secured 1st place in the Year 3/4 Girls' race.
• In the Year 5/6 Girls' race, Cedar Road runners claimed 1st and 3rd place!
